An ACLU Xmas

American Daily: Christmas and America's 5th Column Jerks.

Reflecting on how fast the year has flown by and the overall positive mood of the American people, it is incumbent that I share my optimism, just to spite America's 5th Column Jerks. The so-called "Peace Movement" is America’s 5th Column that consists of the mainstream media, press, traitorous bureaucrats, too many socialist educators and bunch of Hollywood Nitwits.
A robust will of the American people to celebrate Christmas by spending more money per-capita and openly preferring retailers and their employees that wish customers a “Merry Christmas” was evident this year. Square in the face of political correctness jerks, the 86% of Americans that consider themselves politically moderate and believe in God are also telling America’s 5th Column to take a hike. The recent national uproar over the removal of Christmas trees at the Seattle International Airport is indicative of the mood Americans are in and willingness to fight for their traditions.

The Report ...

YNET NEWS: Terrorists rejoicing over new Baker report .

A high level US commission's recommendations for an eventual withdrawal from Iraq and for dialogue with Iran and Syria proves "Islamic resistance" works and America will ultimately be defeated, according to senior terrorist leaders interviewed by WND.
The militants, from the largest Palestinian terror groups in the Gaza Strip and West Bank, welcomed the policies outlined by the Iraq Study Group, which they claim recognizes Islam is the "new giant of the world."
"The report proves that this is the era of Islam and of jihad," said Abu Ayman, a senior leader of Islamic Jihad in the northern West Bank town of Jenin.

Baker

The Guardian: Talabani lashes out at 'dangerous' Baker report on US role in Iraq.

Iraq's president Jalal Talabani, a key ally of the US, yesterday delivered a thunderous rejection of the bipartisan US Iraq Study Group, describing its findings as "dangerous" and saying that its recommendations were "dead in the water".
At his heavily fortified residence on the banks of the Tigris, Mr Talabani told the Guardian that the key suggestions of the long-awaited report by James Baker and Democrat Lee Hamilton were "the wrong medicine for the wrong diagnosis" and called them an unwarranted interference in Iraq's internal affairs that undermined the war-torn country's sovereignty at a crucial time.

Viva !!!

REDSTATE: A "LIBERAL MANIFESTO" AND OTHER HALLOWEEN FRIGHTS.

Over at The American Prospect, they decided to get a head start on scaring the public half to death this Halloween season by publishing a "Liberal Manifesto" which carefully lays out what the authors believe all good liberals should stand for.
This kind of earnestness on the part of the left is something we've grown used to over the years. In fact, it is a defining characteristic of modern liberalism, this cloying self righteousness. It fits in with their constant need to avoid introspection by formulating intellectual conceits based on a heroic self-image, standing up against the villainy of the opposition with only the lantern of truth and a pen to battle evil. Creating a "moral" universe that has about as much foundation as a pool of quicksand, liberals who are constantly defining and redefining themselves fail to see the monumental irony in their efforts to simplify their riot of conceits into any kind of logical or coherent set of principles.
